Today’s morning #smoothie: before & after!
- 2 oranges;
- 1 banana;
- 1/2 pomegranate.
This is Miffy. She is my dad’s cat. Everytime I visit I tend to find her in particularly awkward places, and these locations always have something in common: she is ON TOP of it, literally. These have been the latest ones: a printer; a freshly washed clothes basket; digital TV box; plastic bags, and so on… It’s quite amusing that she finds these positions comfortable :) Home sweet home.

Found this photo on Ana Montiel’s blog ‘AM on the Present Tense’. She makes beautiful designs & patterns, you can see some on her book called ‘Visual Mantras’ in the video on the bottom of this page as well as some more of her work: http://www.absolutnetwork.com/ana-montiel-patrones-atemporales/
I love this photo she had on her blog. It’s such a powerful and beautiful setting, it’s like no words can describe what you feel when you look at it. Just contemplating the photo, and taking time to understand and settle yourself in this wonderful room, is what you want to do. I think the tall ceilings add such a ‘umph’ to the setting, making it so majestic.

Found this today. Like the concept of a social/playing area for kids. Occupies too much space though!

Woohomes main mission here on woohome is to inspire you, to showcase the best creative products and designs including mordern furniture. Came across it today on StumbleUpon and really liked it.
Today was my first client meeting at Kulturhuset, the official partner and where the venue will be held for the sustainable design exhibition I am doing the web design/concept for. (More details on the exhibition to follow soon.)
Both Habibihus & Apparat - the interior designers &architects pioneering this exhibition - were also present at the meeting today. Very interesting to ‘shadow’ and see what a meeting for an exhibition of this scale - running for 5months - includes.
After the meeting me and Elise ran through some of the designs, and we sat down in the ‘Ekoteket’ cafe/restaurant area on the 3rd floor of the Kulturhuset. This is a stunning space that is updated every month with sustainable furniture designs, and where there are weekly talks and discussions about sustainable design. I have to say the color green is evidently predominant in this space, and I love that! It is a very inspirational space to be in, with a beautiful view of Stockholm of course. I include some photos here of my favorite pieces displayed, which coincidentally, some of them I saw displayed at Stockholm Furniture Fair that I posted on here too.
I’m so happy to be feeding my hunger and passion for beautiful interior design exploration, combined with design & strategy with this great freelance opportunity.

Especially those vibrant colors, contrasting with the neutral wooden floor & white furniture.
