Bruce Mau Design teaches us “The Secret to Making a Difference”
Bruce Mau is a big inspiration to me, as a great thinker and innovator, since I saw his talk at KTH last December. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of his parent company, MDC Partners, Bruce Mau Design recently designed the second in a series of quotation-based books, The Secret to Making a Difference.
Each of the 11 chapters in The Secret to Making a Difference features a unique format that is meant to express the central idea of that section, including “Vision” - 3D images with accompanying glasses.
The mission statement at Frog has always been to change the world, and our people are really passionate about that. And if you keep that in the front of your mind, it is amazing that no matter how big you get, if you hire the right kind of people, that’s their mission. And you have to empower people. Micromanagement is the death of creativity, so you have to create an environment where they can succeed, and where the environment can expand.
