Took a trip to the heavenly Scandinavian Kitchen with my Mum this weekend. I discovered them on Twitter last week. It’s filled with delicious delicacies from all over Scandinavia and they import a lot of products such as cheese, salmon, spices, sweets, sauces, caviar….the list goes on and on and on.
I was sooo happy to find that I can buy some of my favorite Swedish food here in London. It felt like my Mum’s kitchen back home away from home, which is always filled with delicious Swedish products that we love. I bought my favorite hot chocolate in the world, O’boy and knäckebröd (hard bread). In the meanwhile I sat down and ate one of their delicious wienerbröd.
Thank you Scandinavian Kitchen, I’m so happy I found you.

My Dad was visiting last weekend, and as two great admirers of Scandinavian design and furniture, we went to visit the well known Jacksons store on Sibyllegatan 53, in Östermalm.
They have the most amazing furnitre pieces from some of my favorite furniture designers like Arne Jacobsen and Alvar Aalto. If you are an interior design fanatic like me, you will love this store, with some of the most beautiful Scandinavian classics on show.
I took these pictures of the two white chairs and table beneath the two lamps at the entrance, as I thought they were very well aesthetically positioned. They also had this old bicycle on the window show front, which I thought was really cool. Some eye candy for now… I hope to one day earn enough money to buy at least one chair / sofa for my own place.
